Welcome FWSW Season 3!

Rick & I are SO excited for the new Season!  We are SO blessed to have so many GREAT volunteers who make this program possible!  We feel we have the BEST trainers, nutrition, behaviorist, Computer Tim, Spiece and all the Sponsor who allow us to do this.   We feel so lucky to finally have the opportunity to meet all of you and learn about each and everyone of you!

Please know we are ALL her to support, help, educate, care, and love u!  Please let us know what we can do to make this the BEST experience for you!

    Thanks for the help in step-arobics on Wed. I apperciate all the help you all are giving me. I find it hard to put into words, and I talk a lot as we all know by now, how much this program means to me. This is an answer to my prayers and I know this will alter my life forever. I look forward to getting on the scales on Monday…never thought I would hear those words come out of my mouth. And I can’t wait to excersie with the group again. See ya tonight at the game.

    Just looked at the weight losses for the week! Wow! I love it! Go FWSW 3. I hope that the group continues to push hard, because no records are unbeatable. And all 25 contestants can be winners. It isn’t about the prizes given, but the person that you can become. That is the real prize. Thanks for letting me be a very small part of this year’s program.

    Thank you for everything…I went and bought the 50 calorie tortillas at Meijer..YAY..I was so excited. I have SOOOOOOO much to learn and I feel like I am taking baby steps but thank you for being right there for me. I am not going to lie it is hard having six kids and trying to still find time for myself and then I go to work and I am around food all day long,this is a challenge for me but I am so glad I have the opportunity to do it..

    GREAT JOB! You can DO THIS!! It is baby steps. You are changing your eating habits and its for the better! We are here to help you. Just ask anytime and we will help you. I know you have a full plate, so thats why I said on Saturday to keep your food SIMPLE:) You don’t need fancy recipes! You can do the basics for now. As you understand about food, calories, etc etc you will be able to cook differently:) Keep the questions coming. We are ALL here to help and make you life healthy!!!

    I am very hopeful that many, if not all, of this year’s group will register for the fort-4-fitness 1/2 marathon or 4 mile run this fall. It could be an extension of this program, to keep us all moving toward our goals of eating healthy and moving every day.

    What do you guys eat if you are in the mood for a juicy burger?? With the warmer weather and smelling everyone’s grills – I am hankering for a juicy burger!! And I am looking for a healthy version!

    Yes, we make Turkey burgers. 99% Jennio Turkey found at Scotts/Krogers. I roll them into a flat patty and sprinke pepper and Mrs Dash Italian seasoning on them. They are VERY yummy and healthy! I then cut potatoes up and in aplastic bag I use 2 tbsp of Olive oil, 2 tbsp of hot pepper sauce, 1 tsp of Thyme, a tsp of Hungarian paprika and 1 tsp of ground cumin. Talk about a great summer meal!! You can have a side salad-I only use spinach and cut up red pepper and cucumbers, and whatever else you like. Use a low fat dressing and you got dinner girl!! Nice & healthy!!! Hope you like!!! Tina

    That sounds YUMMY!!! I am going to try that. We cook out ALOT not only in the summer but all year long (we are from wisconsin,lol) I know I can use this meal:)
