Steve Ostheimer

I am 59 years old.  A father of 2 and a grandfather of 3 girls.  I was in Season 2 and had cancer surgery at week 5.  I missed 3 weeks and then went through 24 weeks of chemotherapy.  With the support of my Blue Team and prayer I made it through.  I am here to start where I left off last year.  I am blessed to be back and will give all of my support to each and every team along with the trainers.

    Steve,
I know that you had a tough week, but you can do this. Stay focused and stay strong. You’ve got a lot of people (FWSW Family) who are here to support you in anything that you need.
    Keep smiling!

Steve – my road has been easier becuase you paved this way for me. Thank you for sharing your ideas about how to make it through.

Just so you know – I have your food diaries to review. First off – looks like you are not eating enough calories or carbs. I have an idea for you. Try Thomas’s multigrain light english muffins. Not too many calories and they taste great! Also, you need more fruits! ry strawberries, caneloupes, blueberries, pineapple!

    Steve,

I’m so glad we’re teammates this year. It’s been great to be able to chat with you after workouts (and in those few rare moments when we can actually breathe and talk at the same time during a workout). Thanks for being such a great encourager!

You’re doing a great job! I’m not going through the same things as you, but I know it’s hard when you’re trying so hard and things that are out of your control try to hold you back. Just remember that today is a new day and you have a whole group of people to stand behind you to give you a push! Keep up the good work because you’re doing great!!

    Steve,
They keep talking about the end of this contest and how we are going to feel about it. Well, the only thing I am really going to miss is you in that pretty pink shirt. It really brings out your eyes. LOL. You are doing so good. Keep it up!

    Steve, Steve, Steve, Steve, Steve…
What can I say about Steve? You’re an awesome guy! Love the little chats we get to have in the mornings, you have some good stories to tell, I can’t wait to hear more.
And you’re doing fantastic in this competition, I noticed a couple weeks ago your profile is looking MUCH smaller as you ran past me!! Way to go!!
