    Karen,
You are really doing a great job. Isn’t it exciting to see all of the changes we are going through? It’s only half way. Just think what another 7 weeks will do for us. Keep up the good work. Have a great day and a great weigh-in tonight.

We had an excellent workout this morning. I plan on redeeming myself for my low number this week. Rick pulled me asided after class this morning and put me on the stairmaster. My first thought was “oh no, what did I do, or not do!” I thought I was going to die half way through. But I am glad that he did. He pushed me further then I thought I could go. Thanks Rick! I appreciate all that you, Tina, & the trainers do for us.

    Karen,
Sorry to hear about your calf pain. I know it hurts. I have been spending about 10 minutes on an eliptical machine (no resistence) before our workouts just to warm up and stretch before we start jogging. It seems to help.

Keep up the good work and way to go pushing yourself with Rick on the Stairmaster.

I went to the 13 mile walk in Auburn on Saturday and I am happy to say that I finished it! It took me 3 hours & 45 minutes. This was mostly walking, so I feel better knowing that in July I will be able to make it in under 3 hours. I had such a great feeling of accomplishment after. The only problem I really had during the walk was the friction of my socks in my shoes. I was told this is commen, but I really dont know. Its been a great weekend.

  18. Lisa says:

I don’t know how I managed to miss you yesterday! I did the whole walk too, but didn’t see you! :-( The Pink team was well represented!

I had the same friction problem and ended up with a blister on the bottom of my foot. I was a little sore this morning, but nothing a little ice and advil couldn’t fix. I feel like I’ve been living on ice and advil have become a regular part of my FWSW routine.

    See you tomorrow night!

    Lisa

  19. Ashley says:

    Karen,
You are doing great. Good job on your accomplishments of completing the 13.1 mile walk. I wish I could have been a part of it myself. Keep up the hard work! Hope your blisters are feeling better (your’s too, Lisa).

I did 25 minutes on the stairmaster this morning! I never thought I would be able to accomplish that. When Rick had me get on it last time for 10 minutes I thought I was going to die. It is such a great feeling to see & feel improvement. I thank God we have Tina & Rick and all the trainers pushing us to do better.
I did have my shots this morning in my back. I am not feeling very well right now but I hope they help. I was told it will take a few days to feel improvement.

  22. shannon2010 says:

    Hi Karen,
