I have lived in Fort Wayne for most of my life. I’m a mother of a wonderful 9 year old daughter Madison. I work for Theracare as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Ren. Village Nursing Home. I love my Career! My parents live in California and my brother & sister-in-law live in Georgia. They’re so excited and supportive! I love them so much! They’re all so fit and I can’t wait to join them with a fit lifestyle!
Keep pushing, you are wonderful! I hope Maddie is feeling better!
Thank you for all your kind words this week:) That means alot to me…You are doing such an amazing job, I hope I can keep up with you someday:)

Great job today!
Happy Mother’s Day! You’ve been doing great! Keep up the good work.
I hope everyone had a great mother’s Day! I had the best weekend! My family was here from California and Georgia and it made for a fantastic Mother’s Day weekend. It’s always really sad to see them go home though… I miss them already!
I did really good this weekend with exercise and eating correctly! I’m really happy and proud of myself for staying true to myself throughout the weekend. It’s starting to get easier and easier with eating right and not caving into temptation. I feel like I can be in any situation and not feel the pressures of tempation with food. I feel like this is kind of new territory for me because I’ve always caved in where food was concerned. I hope that this isn’t a honeymoon period in my weight loss journey and that I will be able to continue feeling the way I feel tight now!
I’m feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on another week of FWSW! I’m a little nervous for the weight in tomorrow and hope I do well!
See everyone tomorrow!
Jen
You are doing awesome! Keep it up!
Great job lady! You are doing so great, keep up the hard work.
** GO PINK **
Way to push it out this morning! And what an amazing loss for you last week! Thanks for the effort, I’m super excited about the sparkly!!
Hope you can make it dancing Saturday!
Got Bling?
Work hard this weekend, we need good numbers again!! I promise you I will do my part too!! Love you all!
Had the hardest morning on Tuesday training. I was on the stair stepper with Rick and I think I actually cried! I felt so wore out and tired. I decided I had to get a great nights sleep and woke up the next morning feeling like a new person! I’ve had a great week ever since! I feel stronger and I have in a long time.
The only thing holding me back right now is some right shin pain that doesn’t seem to be going away! It’s been about 1.5 weeks of this pain going on and I think I’m going to go and talk to Dr. Roth about it. It’s a little discouraging because I feel so good everywhere else and that this pain is holding me back a little….
I’m so nervous about this half marathon. I’ve never been much of a runner, so I really just need to change my outlook on this and have faith that it will all work out. I have faith in the trainers that they will train us for this battle and we’ll be able to finish it!
This is such a wonderful program and I feel so fortunate to be a part of it! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and see ya’ll on Monday evening for the weigh in!!!
Hope your pain is easy to manage – do get someone to guide you so it does not get out of control.
Jen, you are doing great! Do not let this week’s weigh-in get to you! I am so glad that you talked to Dr. Roth this morning. He will help you with managing your pain! Just because your injured, don’t let it keep you from thinking that you can lose the weight, because you can! Tom told me today to ice my leg as if it will fall off if I don’t!! Ice it, elevate it, and keep believing in yourself!!
Jen, I’m sorry to hear about the pain you are having. Listen to the trainers & you will get through it. Don’t let this week get you down. I was there a couple of weeks ago and I know how you feel. You can get through it! Keep working hard, listen to your pain (& the trainers) & watch your diet. Next week will be better. Karen
hey Lady you will get past this week! Great job! Keep it up!
Sorry I was not at Wednesday workout, missed everyone
Crohn’s hit Tuesday afternoon
Spent all night in and around the toilet

Hey everyone! This has been a fantastic week so far! Monday ended kinda bad with the weigh-in. I gained .4 lbs. I really started beating myself up about it and decided that was not the solution! No pity party here. I didn’t work hard enough last week and it showed on the scale. It’s totally my fault. I’m very re-focused now and really embracing this week. All I can do is try my hardest and that’s what I’m doing this week.
I’m going to Dr. Roth this afternoon for him to check out my right shin. The pain hasn’t gone away and I’m just hoping that shin splints is all it is. I’m praying that it’s not a stress fracture. That would be devistating news. Please keep me in your prayers this afternoon.
I’m so proud of everyone! We’re all wokring hard and it’s really starting to show. I’m seeing a lot of smallest guts and butts! Keep up the good work guys!

Way to work out this morning! Great Job!
You’re doing so great. It’s so encouraging to see you every day! You’re truly a great person and I can’t wait to get to know you more throught the rest of the competition!!
Jen, welcome to the Flector patch club!! I hope that the patch will help you with your pain like it has helped me. I really notice a difference when I wear it. Hopefully, you’ll be back in no time!
Jen,
It was so nice to meet your daughter at Laura’s b-day party:) She is a cutie like her mom….You are doing great….keep up the good work…..gotta hit the hay see ya in the morning
Kathleen
GO BLUE!!!!!
What a week! Last week was so busy for me, but I stayed on track all week. I exercised a ton and I’m hoping it will pay off tomorrow for the weigh in.
My shins are feeling a lot better, kudos to the flector patches!
I was so excited this weekend. I went to try on clothes for the 1st time since starting this program and was so shocked at the size I was able to fit in! I’m now 4 sizes smaller then I was at Christmas! I was so nervous to try on clothes. I’ve never felt that way before, but my heart started racing when I walked into the fitting room. Not sure why????
I was able to have a very nice weekend and enjoy friends. Even though I did a lot fo fun things, I was able to stay in control and get all my workouts in. It really feels good to be in control of your life where food and exercise are concerned.
I just wanted to thank Rick and Tina for the pep talk on Friday evening at Spiece. I was feeling unmotivated and they were wonderful to talk to. They remotivated me! You guys are so wonderful! I’m kind of scared for this program to be over… I wish it could last forever!
See ya’ll tomorrow evening!
Jen
Jen,
I am so proud of you for all the positive changes you are making in not only your own life but in your daughter’s as well. take care and may the dear Lord continue to bless you
You are an amazing women
Kathleen
Jen,
You little purple superstar! When are you going to share some of your secret weight lose deodorant with me? I have a goal of 20 more pounds and I could use the help.
You are looking great and I love your spirit. Thanks so much for always making me smile. Keep up the good work and way to stay focused.
Holly
My pesky shins are driving me crazy today! I think I’m just a little worn out this week. I worked so hard last week and I’m feeling it now. I’m going to get a good nights sleep tonight and hopefully will feel a bit better in the morning.
I just wanted to also add that I’m so happy to know every single one of you guys. Your all an inspiration to me in your own unique ways! I love all of you and lets really encourage and push eachother the next 5 weeks! We’ll be looking good for the finale!
Thanks Jen-
You are getting there fast!
Way to push yourself, you have definitely shown it!
Can’t wait for the finale, so excited!
Green Team Jen
Jen,
Thank-you again for everything that you have done for me. I really appreciate the extra Flector patches until I can get more. You are doing a great job in our workouts and I am so glad that your new shoes are allowing you to perform better. Keep it up!
You are so inspiring. Thanks for all the encouragement!
What a week! I have been so jazzed this week about running! What’s wrong with me…lol! I wouldn’t say I’m the greatest runner, in fact I’m probably closer to the “worst” category, but darn-it, I like it!
Please keep me in your prayers everyone… My shins are KILLING me! I have been running anyways and moving through the pain, but it’s really hard! I just want to make it through this program and the 1/2 marathon and then I will probably take a hiatus from the running thing until I can heal up my shins. Do more stair climbing (also something I hated in the beginning and now can’t get enough of)!
I can’t believe we only have 4 weeks left. I’m so sad
I just feel so fortunate to have met all these wonderful people and get my life back!
Push hard everyone! We only have a couple more weeks left!
Jen
You’re doing great. I know you have some pain, but you keep working through it and that’s awesome.
What’s up little purple hot mama,
I haven’t got any deodorant yet. I sure hope I do well on Monday! LOL
You are doing to good. I know you have to be feeling so good about yourself and the progress that you have made. You are strong little one. And how!
Holly
What a weekend! I can honestly say I haven’t been this happy in years…. MANY YEARS PEOPLE! I went through so much in my 20’s… I hated my 20’s. After being in a marriage that was so difficult, I spent many years trying to get the “old Jen” back. No matter what I tried, I never felt like the Jen I used to be. I just figured that I would never get back to that carefree and fun person I used to be. I truly believe that I didn’t let myself loose weight because I didn’t feel like I was worth it. This program has literally changed my life! I now feel like I’m worth it now. Like I can conquer all those demons in my life. I’m just so happy to be a part of this program and equally happy with the changes, not only on the outside, but on the inside. I feel truly blessed to be a part of FWSW and for all the wonderful people that I’ve met!
I love every single one of you!
Jen
Jen,
I am sooooooooooooooooo proud of you and am thrilled that you had a great weigh-in last night! You are totally worth it!!! If ever in doubt, call me! I’d be happy to tell you how incredible you are!
Lisa
What a fantastic week! Started out with a GREAT weigh-in! I’m now offically under 200 pounds! That was my goal at the beginning of the program… I started out at 245.6 and just wanted to get under 200 pounds by the finale… Well, I’ve got 4 weeks to spare! Now the new goal is to try and get to 185 or 180… it’s a tall order, but I’m going to try!
I’m a little nervous about these last couple weeks. The blind weigh-in’s are a little terrifying! I’m just going to work my hardest and hope that it’s enough!
I am so proud of everyone in this program. I have been noticing big changes the last couple weeks in the apprearance of everyone. Everyone is looking so much smaller! How wonderful! Very exciting guys! We’ve all worked so hard for this and we all deserve it so much!
I hope ya’ll have a wonderful weekend!
I’m so happy that you got under 200!! That’s an amazing accomplishment, and girlie you can see it. You look fantastic. You’re a huge inspiration for me, and I hope that we continue to be support for each other when this is over. OMG, it’s almost over
Even so, you’re awesome. Keep up all the hard work!
I just want to pinch your cheeks. Oh wait, they are disappearing! LOL
I am going to join you soon in the under 200 pound club. I don’t care if you are on Purple team. I still really like you!
Holly
I can’t believe how tiny you are getting! Under 200!!! WOOOHOOO!!!! Way to go girl! Can’t wait to join you there. You can do it, you can catch Jimmy!! Keep it up!!
I am so proud of you for making a doctor’s appointment for your legs. I know that that was such a hard decision because I can relate. You will not regret taking care of your body in any way!! Keep up the great work, you are looking amazing!
Oh, this is going to be a nail biter!!! It’s so exciting to be down to the wire with only 1% between you and Jimmy. You have done so well in the contest. I know you have to be so proud of your accomplishments! You have such a great spirit.
By the way, I hope your legs are feeling better. Take care of yourself and listen to your body. It won’t let you down. Stay safe.
Holly
Jen: Great job this week, keep pushing.
Good luck on the leg.
