Amazing! You did a half marathon??? Oh my gosh. It makes me hurt just thinking about it. There are no words for how proud I am of you! Could you move the next day? Keep up the good work. You are a stronger person than I am. Sending a huge hug across the miles. We miss you!!!

    hello everyone,

i know that i havent blogged very much throughout these 14 weeks, but i wanted to take the time and tell you all how important you are to me. all of you have inspired me in some way. being the youngest, i look up to all of you. i know that if you can do it, so can i! i have had some tough times throughout this competition, times where i didnt feel like getting up and coming to workout, but after thinking about it long and hard, i knew that i needed you all and i didnt want to let you down. i would have a bad day, but just thinking of all your smiling faces pushed me through. i want to thank you for all of your encouraging words and thoughtful prayers. i couldnt have done this without all of you. if any of you ever need anything, all you have to do is call. call me to workout with you or just to talk. im here for all of you like you were for me. you are like my second family!!!! so thanks again for everything. good luck to all of you in the future. remember, we can do anything! we have proved that by what we all have accomplished in these last 14 weeks!!! my thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!

    love you all,

    Entry The Last?

IT’S 12:19 IN THE MORNING and I can’t sleep. Tomorrow (later today, actually) is the final weigh-in and the competition hangs in the balance. Any one of seven contestants could win it all. Good luck to all of you! We have come a long way on this journey, and together we will finish it.

Sweet dreams, Smallest Winners. May they be filled with bubbling hot tubs and vacations to warmer climates.

    I love you all!

Lao Tzu said about 2600 years ago that:
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
And another thing that he said was:
If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.
So we have done them both took a first few steps and changed directions to avoid ending up in a not so good place for our health, let’s keep this up… and make it a life time change…

    Remember..
Pain comes an goes, yet memories and friendships made in struggling times last for a life time.
First of al than you for all the encouragement and all the great support on my low days.
This has been a blast, almost as painful as boot camp, but only better; got to sleep in my own bed.
    You girls and guys rock.

As an older song named: Down Deep Into The Pain says…
You gotta go down deep down into the pain
Let it purge your soul like flesh to a razor blade
Dig down deep into the pain
Surrender, surrender, dig in, dig in
Put yourself down deep into the pain
Embrace the bliss of pure sensation
You can’t escape from the ultimate pain
So let your senses drift into Euphoria

Thank you again to Rick, Tina, and all the trainers and other people who made this possible.

I hope to see you around, I feel like I live at Spiece anymore, but what a place to call a second home.

    My very best regards,

    Love, lots of it… ;-)

Buck: You are missing your calling Bud! Your should have been a trainer.
You are a team leader and always looking to help those around you.
Most important just being your freind!
    Love those white knee highs!!!!!!!

I didn’t know we could leave blogs again! Like the Joker said in The Dark Knight: “Here… we… go!”

For those of you keeping score at home, Season 3 is in its fifth week and about to finish the first-third of the contest. There have been interesting results for this year contestants. Some contestants have taken the holeshot and have jumped to a quick (and seemingly substantial) lead. But as any alum will tell you, FWSW is not a sprint. It’s a marathon.

And of course, I will personally tell you that when you’re think you’re winning this competition, you aren’t.

Worry not, Smallest Winners and hold fast! Those of you who are shaking in your boots and worried you will be cut – keep your nose to the grindstone, have faith in the (nutrition & fitness) system and keep hacking away at it. Some of your fellow contestants have jumped out in front like a sports car; however, perhaps you should fancy yourself a locomotive: you may have had a slow start, but once you get going… WATCH OUT!

It’s late, and we have a workout in less than 6 hours… so sweet dreams to all you Smallest Winners out there. It will be your only solace before Amber gets her hands on you tomorrow! Bwaahaahaahaa!

Lots of thanks and love go out to all of you who have supported Fort Wayne’s Smallest Winner over the past three… “seasons”. Much of the success we all have had would not have happened without you. Thank you!
