I am 24 years old. I am recently engaged to my wonderful fiancé Chris who I am marrying the weekend after the competition ends. I have always been competitive with sports and with pretty much everything. I play softball and am heavily involved with my church, youth group, and worship team. I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and will be glorifying Him throughout this journey.
Check you out throwing that tire. i bet you could even throw it farther now. wish we could go back and try.
Hello Everyone!

I’ve got to back up Jill about the tire throws. You made those tires sorry for ever not making it on tractor!

Kristi
Next week, come prepared to use both arms during workout
Delores
Thanks for always having a big smile on you face
I am getting so nervous about the finale on July 11th. I mean what if I trip or make a fool of myself on stage. But then I got to thinking at least I’m not getting married soon. I mean what if you trip going up the aisle or your dress falls off your shoulders because it doesn’t fit you anymore or you have lipstick smeared all over your teeth and no one tells you all night or you forgot the shoes that match your dress (i can see that) So thanks to you I realize that I don’t really have all that much to be worried about. Thanks and GOOD LUCK!
Sarah-
You must know by now that you are not alone in this. Tell us what you need. I will pack you a lunch if I have to. You work too hard in the gym to let it slide on the journaling. Remember – a wedding is just one day, but you need a healthy LIFE and a healthy MARRIAGE. Way to push yourself on the track – You can Do This!
Diana
Please know that you if there is ever anything you need, just let me know. We are all in this together and will support you in whatever you may need. You work so hard and are doing so great – lean on me whenever you need to! That’s what I’m here for
Sarah,
We appreciated you honesty last night. Please know Rick really meant what he said to you. Please know we are ALL here for support and will help you in anyway you need. JUST ASK, and we are there!
We know you are getting married soon, so you need to TRY and balance your life When the contest if over you will need to know how to balance your new married life along with taking time for YOU to work out and eat properly. You can do it, take advantage of all the resources we are offering. NOW I THE TIME!!
Remember one day at a time. Make a list and only do what you can do in a day. Don’t STRESS, STRESS can do VERY bad things to our mind and body.. Remember we are OLD and WISE!!! LOL
Enough lecturing, we are proud of how hard you work, and know you are committed to this program. Remember you have lost 26 lbs in 10 weeks!! Be proud!!
Great job on the Team presentation last night. Way to take the assignment serious. We truly appreciate!
Rick and Tina
Stop reading this and go enter food in your journal.

Sassy Steph
Your AWESOME!
Sarah,
Sorry I can’t make your shower this weekend, I have family obligations all weekend, please call if there is anything I can help you with on your wedding. I am very happy to help, I use to be a wedding planner and a florist for Oz Gallery and Gifts out southwest, as well as RSVP designs in Indy. Im just a phone call away
Throw the negativity out-no more of that. You have come a long way and have done very well with it. I love your humor-it eases all that we go through. So ease your mind, keep it “light”, everything WILL be all right. You are doing a wonderful job!
I apologize big time for missing your shower. I wanted to go and planned on it, but I could not find the darn info. I’m sure you had lots of people there for you having fun, but again I’m very sorry.
Naomi
Sarah,
Through all of this, make sure you take time for yourself. Taking care of yourself is one of the best things that you can do.
You are doing amazing in this! Keep your spirits up! You know who to look up to…Jeremiah 29:11…
Kristi
Sarah
Hope you can find your happy thoughts. Remember they are there, sometimes you just have to search for them. You look great when your running in the gym, I’ll try to keep up for a half a lap next time. Keep it up.
Rhonda
If I had running pants like you I would be lapping you! (The green pair)
HaHa!
DanE
Sarah,
Could not think of a better person to rock that golden tee today. You have been that ray of sunshine so necessary to make it this far, and it’s not just me. Your positive attitude has been an integral part of individual and group success.
Buck
Sarah,
I can’t imagine how much stress you’re under right now, with your job, this competition, AND planning a wedding! But you are handling it well. You can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you! Thanks for praying for me this week. I really needed it, and it helped. “The prayers of the righteous availeth much.”
Love ya!
Leslie

Diana
I love to see you pushing yourself, you have amazing strength, just keep the line clear between pushing and hurting yourself! Finish strong, you have great things ahead.
Way to workout!
DanE
alrighty dighty its on and poppin’! just checking in to remind you to eat something substantial tonight, eat tomorrow around 4 am, drink plenty of water, goto bed early tonight and remember that we are the healthiest we’ve ever been…we can do this…
also wanted to mention that it’s not only going to be a challenge physically tomorrow…it’s also going to be a big mental challenge as well. dont let your mind hold you back…its going to try to trick you…its going to tell you that you can’t go on…take yourself somewhere else…push yourself…push through the physical pain…think about how far you’ve come…not how far you have to go…

Sarah: Even with a injury today you never wanted to give up. You inspire all of us, be proud of what you did today.
Stay strong this next week
Steve
Sarah – I hope you are doing okay today. You were pushing yourself yesterday even when you were in severe pain with your ‘never give up’ attitude! Be proud of what you accomplished. Take care of yourself, you want to be 100% for July 18th
Sarah-
I know that finishing was important to you. But as you know, God gives us what He knows we can handle. You are strong, and you can get through this. And when you do, there will be another 1/2 marathon somewhere, sometime, and you WILL finish strong! Don’t let Saturday diminish what you have accomplished these last 14 weeks.
Diana
Rest easy- we’re in the homestretch. You need to be strong for the last week and especially your wedding. Focus on all the things that you have accomplished, at this point that’s what matters. You have pushed through so much negativity(pain, uncertainty) and will only be better for that.
Naomi
Sarah,
We are so proud of you. You need to focus on what you have accomplished, not could have would have etc etc…..You did what your body allowed. You need to lift your head high and know you did a great job! You have a lot of team support and they showed you how much they love you!
We think it is great you had your strong man to lean on. He is proud of you and you need to be proud as well! Remember you get to come help next year like Season 1 did this year and run it next year!!!
We are proud of you!
Tina and Rick
Just wanted to let everyone know, what an awesome group I think you are, I would never have believed we could do and I’m not sure that without each other we would have, but look at us today, proud and strong,
WE DID IT!
Thank You, Rhonda
I was going to get you an inspirational card at the store last night when I came across one that said better luck next year. I got so made I ripped it up and started it on fire in the middle of the aisle. You don’t need to do any better you were awesome on saturday. Look at all you have accomplished over the last 14 weeks. You did the best you could and that is good enough for us. I know this whole team is so proud of how hard you pushed yourself and how long you kept on going through that horrible pain. I am so proud of you and I can’t wait to run with you again. You know there is always September.
PS Do you have any bail money, apparently setting a store on fire is considered arson. Who would have thought.
hello everyone,
i know that i havent blogged very much throughout these 14 weeks, but i wanted to take the time and tell you all how important you are to me. all of you have inspired me in some way. being the youngest, i look up to all of you. i know that if you can do it, so can i! i have had some tough times throughout this competition, times where i didnt feel like getting up and coming to workout, but after thinking about it long and hard, i knew that i needed you all and i didnt want to let you down. i would have a bad day, but just thinking of all your smiling faces pushed me through. i want to thank you for all of your encouraging words and thoughtful prayers. i couldnt have done this without all of you. if any of you ever need anything, all you have to do is call. call me to workout with you or just to talk. im here for all of you like you were for me. you are like my second family!!!! so thanks again for everything. good luck to all of you in the future. remember, we can do anything! we have proved that by what we all have accomplished in these last 14 weeks!!! my thoughts and prayers are with you all!!!
love you all,
Whitney

p.s.- PAIN IS JUST WEAKNESS LEAVING THE BODY!!!!
Sarah,
I sometimes wonder (don’t ask me why) what this experience would have been like without certain people. I can’t imagine going thru this without you! Seriously! Your humor keeps me grounded, and your prayers keep me lifted. Remember what I told you on Saturday – your most important ‘walk’ coming up is the walk down the aisle. Can’t wait to see you as a bride – you’ll be GORGEOUS!
Leslie
You bring out the best in me. Thanks!
Phone works both ways. So if you don’t call me I’ll gag you with a spoon.
(sorry it was as mean as I could get)
402-1854
well did you put my number in your phone? Or did you just write it on a sticky note that you know will eventually get stuck on your butt and you’ll be wearing my phone number around for all to see and then it will eventually fall off and one day you’ll say gee I wish I had jill’s number I wonder where I put that. Go put it in your phone now and while your at it pack some shampoo for your work out tomorrow.
Sarah,
You rock, you made this thing go round and round.
Thanks for being a great sport… Keep up the great work…
Lao Tzu said about 2600 years ago that:
The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
And another thing that he said was:
If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.
So we have done them both took a first few steps and changed directions to avoid ending up in a not so good place for our health, let’s keep this up… and make it a life time change…
Remember..
Pain comes an goes, yet memories and friendships made in struggling times last for a life time.
First of al than you for all the encouragement and all the great support on my low days.
This has been a blast, almost as painful as boot camp, but only better; got to sleep in my own bed.
You girls and guys rock.
As an older song named: Down Deep Into The Pain says…
You gotta go down deep down into the pain
Let it purge your soul like flesh to a razor blade
Dig down deep into the pain
Surrender, surrender, dig in, dig in
Put yourself down deep into the pain
Embrace the bliss of pure sensation
You can’t escape from the ultimate pain
So let your senses drift into Euphoria
Thank you again to Rick, Tina, and all the trainers and other people who made this possible.
I hope to see you around, I feel like I live at Spiece anymore, but what a place to call a second home.
My very best regards,
Love, lots of it…
Dorin
